I understand that brewershardware.com has longer thermowells...18" to 24". Each time I try going to the website, my Norton blocks the website and tells me it's a known dangerous site. Does anybody else get this?

While Norton does show a hit against 'Identity' (keyloggers, certain other malware), it appears to be stale information. Norton indicated the brewershardware site was hosting a fake Wells Fargo sign-on screen at http://brewershardware.com/online.w...kingstatements/session.cgiscreenid=SIGNON.htm

Those files are no longer there.

I wouldn't necessarily go so far as to make the adolescent comment that Norton blows chunks. The reality is, all AV scanners are falling behind; because their database updates are mostly reactive and to keep AV database sizes down, remove the older threats from those databases.

Virustotal doesn't include Norton results, but all other scanners were clean:

IMO most of the scanners (e.g., Norton) are bigger problems than they are solutions. I have a clean PC and I've been relying on nothing but microsoft free tools for years.

There was a time when I had to hit the computers with MalwareBytes and Spybot etc, mostly due to 3 teenagers in the house clicking on every free gaming oppo. On my work PC though, never a problem with the free OS tools.
