It is new in an unopened box. I had been watching this for a while and then it went on sale for $255 delivered. Almost immediately after ordering I had a few conversations with others and ended up deciding that moving my process to a 3500W induction hob from propane would be a better fit than starting fresh with the Mash and Boil.

Thought I had plenty of time to cancel because the item was backordered until early December. Ended up getting the shipping notification the next morning. It was delivered the following day.

I figure before I send it back I'll see if anyone else wants it. It would save me the $20 loss on shipping it back!

Does it have the latches to hold the lid down?

I believe it does because it is the newer version but I cannot verify 100% (the box does not have a picture on the outside).

Let me confirm from where it was purchased.
