I am in the 2nd day of fermentation of a Brewers best imperial india pale ale and I want to dry hop it with something to give it a really hoppy taste. Here is the ingredient list that was used(as directed by the kit)
6.6lb. Light LME
3lb. GoldenDME
Specialty Grains
1 lb Carmel 80L
8 oz. Victory
4 oz. Carapils
Hops
2oz Bittering (Can't remember what it was)
1oz Flavoring (Also Can't remember what it was)
1oz Aroma (Columbus)
I've never dry hopped any of my beers so I could not be more ignorant on the subject. I've made this kit before and I liked the final product but I would like to give the beer a more hoppy taste. What kind of hops would complement I high gravity IPA? I have about 4 days until I move the beer into a secondary so it should be time to go get what I need. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
