brewers best scotch ale? make it better?

So this is my third kit (second was good no comment on first) and i was wondering if there was any minor tinkering i could do to the beer to increase flavor or something. Thanks for any suggestions. Also doing my first lager next week brewers best black lager.

What kind of yeast are you using?

the BB recipe looks good to me....
