I just picked up a Brewers Best Golden Belgian Ale and I found it odd there were no grains included, just LME and DME. I feel like every other extract kit I've made has included grains, so I'm just wondering if anyone has brewed this kit before and if there are recommendations for steeping grains. The instructions don't include steeping grains, so it's definitely designed that way. I just thought it was weird...

Concentrated brewers wort = liquid malt extract.

I know the Brewers Best American Cream Ale is all extract and sugar with no steeping grains. If your directions that came with the kit don't call out steeping grains then you are ok as they are not part of your kit.

Belgian golden ales are typically all pilsner malt and sugar, there wouldn't usually be any grains suitable for steeping.

It is a beer that lets the yeast shine, rather than malt flavors. A lot of them have added simple sugars to help lower ther FG and dry them out.
