I am brewing this weekend (the first batch in a long time) and am kegging it. But I don't have a fridge to keep it cold. I saw something called a Brewcap that will let you pressurize a 2-liter soda bottle. This seems the perfect answer to my problem - I keep the keg in the corner of the basement, and a 2-liter in the fridge. Has anyone used one of these?

Its called a Carbonator. I use it all the time. When I have a batch aging I sometimes take a sample of it in a 20 oz. water bottle and force carb it to see how the beer is going. Its also great for the 2 liter bottles like you mentioned. You can bring those to parties or whatever like you mentioned.

I took two 2 liter bottles of homebrew on a plane with me last spring to Wisconsin. Those caps worked awesome.
