I found the design at: http://pintwell.com/2014/jan/17/wood-brew-stand-plans/

Looks a bit odd at first glance, but the originators reasoning was a design that only required one pump with priority given to gravity feeding the mash tun. I believe I'll get some gravity feed from the mash tun to the boil kettle but will most likely have to use the pump to once pressures equalize to get my entire volume. I still need to apply polyurethane and run power to splice my pump into a switch.

I made one functional (non critical) error and a couple cosmetic errors.
1. Changed original measurements to accommodate the propane bottles under the far left and right tiers, but missed my cuts by an inch or so. The bottles will slide in sideways, but hit the underside of the platform when trying to stand them up. I like the idea of having the storage for other things, but may jig saw a circle out to seat them. Thought about cutting a half moon out of the back 2 X 4 to slide the bottles in upright, but concerned about structural integrity (weight). I guess I could make some cradles and lay them in horizontally.

2. The outward facing 2X4s on the far left and right tiers have seams facing out instead of contiguous runs along the front - purely cosmetic. While building the table I had it upside down, right side up and sometimes sideways - just lost awareness.

3. I notched out the bottom platform to fit around the 4X4s, but then got over confident when putting the middle platform in and cut the holes out to fit over the 4X4s. Yea,... that took a long time and have a nice pile of scrap to prove it.

All in all I am very happy with how it turned out and cant wait to brew on it. As an aside, I am still stuck on how to mount the plate chiller. Any ideas??

Happy brewing!!

Don't take any offense. Just to save you some dough should you want to redesign it later so you get your clearances back... You don't need 4x4s as legs. 2x4s will do just fine. Youre only supporting what 10 gallons of liquid in each vessel if they were all full? Thats only 80 lbs plus the vessel/each vessel. lets call it an even 100 for all intent and purpose and inclusion of the hardware and plumbing. Thats 300 lbs total . or the size of the average sized man carrying a case of beer.
otherwise, Nice neat looking setup .
Um, just an observation...I would be very careful on brew day that none of those shelved items would fall onto or into the brew space during the session. You're creating a lot of heat and steam in that one small area . I would think it may affect the integrity of that shelf(particle board?)after a while.

Thanks for the comments Soulshine2. The table is on casters so it will be wheeled into the driveway for brew day
