Was just looking on eBay and found this

They are a little thin at 1mm but I was thinking that wouldn't be a huge deal with an electric pot. Anyone have any thoughts about why it would be bad?

Trying to put holes in it for couplers would be difficult as you risk cracks and fissures. If you decide to go with it you will need to use high quality punches like GreenLee. If you go with kegs you can usually get away with the cheap HarborFreight punches. the price difference is about $130.

I was definitely looking at the greenlee punches. I found some on eBay that aren't too expensive. I appreciate the heads up on that

Huh? a simple drill bit and step drill will work fine. Not sure why he would get cracks. It's stainless not clay...LOL
1mm ain't too bad for an electric setup. Don't waste money on a whole punch unless you can get it cheaper than a step drill.

This pot is 18.5" wide, does anyone know of a false bottom that might fit it?
