Outside on the keggle in the summer, and inside doing a PITA split-pot boil on the stove in the winter. Sometimes Canada sucks. :(

Ah don't say that. I love winter in Canada. I freeze my nuts off in Golden, BC any chance I get. And there are a lot of Hot Girls in Cal-Gary too keep you warm!

I do it out side all year long because it always 68ºF...

I own a smaller wholesale bakery that produces cookies. I brew in the production area after hours and on Saturday's. Lot's of conveniences that I wouldn't have at home. Rain or shine, summer or winter, I'm brewing.

I do all my brewing outside. Last winter when I first went to AG I would mash in my cellar and then boil outside, now that I'm doing 10 gal batches that won't work, I'm not going to be able to carry that full MT outside to boil. Just going to need to insulate the MT better.

I brew in my three season porch. not sure if that is inside or outside so I didn't vote. The porch is completely dedicated to brewing, swmbo calls it the brewery... conveniently the porch enters the house into the daylight basement which just so happens to be the bar! It's like my very own little brew pub...

I do everything in my garage, but seeing BM's basement posts have me tempted to brew in my basement this winter.

You guys are talking about brewing inside during the winter.

With the heat and humidity down here, I wish I could brew inside during the SUMMER!!!

I don't think my wife would like this in the kitchen, though. ;)

I started out doing extract and PM's. Finally AG for me and brew outside on screened in porch. Still hot and humid outside, but winter will come sometime (around Feb-Mar) and more brews will be made.

Outside year round. I really should mash inside because I drilled a hole through the side of my Rubbermaid mash tun and inserted a Brewmometer with a SS coupler and in the winter it radiates heat around that area so much that the temperature drops there and it reads 5 degrees lower after 15 minutes. If I stir or recirculate, it pops most of the way back up.

Brewing outside in winter is no big deal here. You can always catch one weekend in January where it is in the 40s and a 150K BTU flame tends to keep you toasty any way.

If you move inside and you're at all handy with plumbing...one of these makes life a lot easier.

Double basin with a hose connected to a splitter valve. MAkes spraying down the keggle afterward with 130 degree water a breeze.

I live in an apartment...so everything is inside in the kitchen. Everything smells soooo good for days. At least I think so. My roomates don't seem to like the smell too much.

How do you get waste water out of a basement?

I'm guessing a recessed basin with a grinding ejector pump, either that or they sell these nice above the floor setups that come ready to go, just connect to the sewer, plug it in and add sewage :D

i heat all water outside, mash with my cooler indoors, collect runnings indoors, and return outside for the boil.

immersion chill and drain into bucket indoors.

I do a mixture, i always mash inside and then i boil outside as long as it isn't raining (i have electrical immersion elements and don't like mixing rain and electricity), if its raining then i take over the kitchen and put the boiler on the cooker top so the extractor fan can take away the vapour.

In my case, all the waste water plumbing is laid down before the basement floor is poured. On the right of my basin sink, you'll see the white PVC pipe coming from my sink and connecting to another verticle?

That verticle runs down into the ground and connects to the local sewage mains out at the font of the property.
