Just started this Coopers Ale and a blog, any suggestions so far?

I would do an alcohol check in about 10 days to 14 days, FYI. By then things should be finished up and you'll have an accurate reading.

Ok cheers for the suggestion, will do.
I am thinking of starting another experimental brew in an 18 litre water cooler bottle, what would be the worst thing that could happen if the plastic was not grade 1 or grade 2 PET? Would it spoil the brew completely?
