A friend and I are getting into brewing. He did a batch on his own that turned out to be undrinkable--and honestly I've only ever poured one other beer out, but his was number two :p (FWIW I think it was just old ingredients and the beer was doomed from the start). Since then, we brewed a belgian triple that we bottled and has turned out really nice (although a bit low in ABV) and we have an IPA sitting in a second fermenter (should hopefully be kegged around mid-February).

Anyway, the two of us have a bad habit of picking up hobbies and going from zero-to-excessive which is more or less why I'm here  If I need references feel free to look me up on the Subaru Legacy forum--I'm a bit of a subaru-nut as well :)

That said, I have a mostly empty fridge in the garage and I'm looking to order a 3-tap setup possibly as early as tomorrow. I think we'll shoot for two or three homebrews on tap, possibly one commercial, and we might brew some root beer as well (will rotate taps as needed).

I'm really just hopping on to say "hey", but if anyone has any info / advice on picking up an initial keg conversion setup, feel free to pass it my way!

I like beer, I like to fish (mostly flyfishing, although with a 2-yearold I don't get out much lately), and I'm into cars.

Cheers,
Mike

Welcome Mike!

Enjoy the kegerator build. There are lots of builds on here where people walk through the entire process. Definitely poke around the DIY forum for ideas and help.

Brewing is a great hobby, but even if you don't fall into homebrewing, you'll be glad to have a kegerator around.

Hi mike try instructables I've learned some things from that

Well, keg parts ordered. IPA will most likely be kegged this weekend. Whisky barrel stout is in the first fermenter.

That's pretty sweet!
