Bourbon Barrel Cleaning

I got my hands on a 10 gallon bourbon barrel that has been sitting dry for about 10 months. The bung has been in it the whole time and it has been stored in a conditioned space. What should I do to prep the barrel before I put any beer into it? How should I clean it, how should I store it before putting beer in. I plan to fill it in the next couple of weeks.

I think there is a powdered barrel cleaning solution that some hbs sell. I don't know what it's called but check it out.
