Bought distributer with 1/4" nipples - 5/16 hose?

I accidently ordered a gas distributer with 1/4" nipples instead of 5/16". Will those worm clamps be sufficent to avoid gas leaks or should I go ahead and order 1/4" hose?

Get the correct hose or you will be cursing the empty CO2 tank. I always go 1/16 smaller than nipple size. So for 1/4" barb I would heat & stretch 3/16 hose.

Thanks! Do you think I can get 3/16inch vinyl hose from Lowes or Home Depot? I was really hoping to get my keezer connected this weekend.

I expect they'd have it. I wouldn't use their hose for beer but I don't see a problem with CO2. I got my CO2 hose from there. I have 1/4" braided vinyl though the nonbraided might be OK. Check the rating on it

I would go for the 1/4" braided vinyl you can get at pretty much any hardware store.
