I just brewed a batch of beer and just found out I don’t have enough carbonation drops to bottle all my beer. How much sugar should I put in each bottle in place of the carbonation drops? What type of sugar is best to use for this?

I have a box of Coopers Brewing Sugar - a 90/10 blend of dextrose and maltodextrine. Or I have straight table sugar, unfortunately I don’t have access to any other kind of sugar, which would be best to use?

Thanks in advance for any help!

the coopers brewing sugar sounds better to me, but the maltodextrine will add body to the beer and wont ferment so you would have to adjust the amount of sugar needed to account for the weight/volume of the maltodextrine. the table sugar might be easier but some people feel it adds a cidery quality to the beer, most bottle priming calculators with let you adjust for table sugar (sucrose) http://www.tastybrew.com/calculators/priming.html
