Of course I'm going to wash and sanitize everything prior to bottling the first batch, but is it essential to go through everything again to bottle a second IPA? I know I probably should, but.....I would like for someone to tell me it's not necessary :)

This is where the bottle trees, or my favorite fast racks come into play. Along with the vitner thing that you press the bottles down and it spray inside. Makes sanitizing 4 cases a 30 minute task.

Are you bottling one batch right after the other? If you're doing one right after another, as long as your sanitary practices are up to par, you should be fine

Ugh--I really wish I had had a bottle tree and vitner last night. I ended up staying up too late bottling my first batch so my question turned out to be moot. I'll resanitize and bottle the second batch tonight!

I don't have a bottling tree but I do have a vitner. I just shoot 3-4 sprays in a bottle then dump out the starsan and then bottle. Works well and doesn't take too long.

I give each bottle a flush under the tap 3 times after I drink it - not had a problem yet

I put them in all in a box until I have 40 then I do another bottling - to bottle I wash each one in starsan - filling bottle 30% up before tipping out

I need to get a tree at some point - but really not critical
