I bottled last saturday. I bottled a Belgian white. It is quite cloudy that from some searches it should clear up a little. Now my other question. It has some white things floating on the top of it and looks like yeast sediment on the bottom? IS this normal, will it go away and turn into a clear beer or is it infected. I didnt try it because its only 2 days old. We tasted it before we bottled and it tasted good but flat :tank: ...What do you think it could be and will it clear up...or should i stop worrying and have a HB.

Whites don't clear up all the way. There should be a little cloudiness. There should definitely be sediment on the bottom, that's a good sign that you're getting a nice carbonation. Did you use a secondary? If not, then it's the excess yeast settling. Some people don't mind it at all, and others stop pouring when they see yeast in the neck. Either way you're fine.

As for the floaters, I get them from time-to-time as well. Nothing to worry about, most likely it's some yeast or krausen chunks that didn't filter out. It won't hurt you or your drink.

Awesome! :ban: Yea it seems like yeast on the bottom and no i did not use a secondary. Im gonna get another carboy and use that for secondary. I guess thats a good reason to use a secondary...As long as its not infected its perfect...
