So I have an IPA fermenting at my parents house since I can regulate the temperature better there. Anyhow, I brought my bottling equipment to their house and in the midst of bottling, realized that I left the capper in my kitchen 35 miles away. First time for everything I suppose?
I already primed the batch with dextrose, but siphoned it from my bottling bucket to secondary. I plan on bottling tomorrow, but am wondering if I should add any additional priming sugar? Also, should I put saran wrap over the airlock or would too much pressure build? I plan on bottling about 18 hours from now.
Thanks!
