Much has been written about bottle aging but most posts do not mention whether or not aging REFRIGERATED bottles counts. Do all processes stop when cold? Are they best off in a cool dark place like a closet? One major contributor here says a WARM dark closet. Most of the brewing process has many variables, but it seems like this may actually have a right answer..

The newly bottled beers need to be carbed & conditioned at around 70F for 3-4 weeks for an average gravity beer. Fridge time of at least a week to give any chill haze a chance to form & settle. Not to mention get enough co2 into solution for decent carbonation as well. But 2 weeks is even better for longer lasting carbonation & thicker head.
