Bottel storage

I have recently started to keg my beer, So I'm not needing as may bottles. I would still like to have some around for when I would like to bottle beer. was looking for ideas on how guys are storing there bottles.

Old (or new) milk crates. Sturdy, can hold a case of bottles, breathable, stackable and easy to transport.

I keep mine in old, upright file cabinets

I use Rubbermaid-type totes. One row with the necks all pointed one way, the next row opposite. The ones I use hold about 70 bottles each, so I just have to get one down to do a batch.

ETA: The totes also stack very nicely.

I found a random box size while at work that holds 20 standard size longneck bottles perfectly. And we had a job come in with a bunch of them. so free boxes for me!
Its a Uline box, so its an easy one to find should I need more.

I will pick up some empty 24 count boxes from the local bar for storage. You may have to show up early when the barkeep is restocking the beer cooler.

If you want to spend a little extra money you can go with the Fast Rack. It's pretty convenient for stacking, storing, and drying multiple bottles.

I got a few boxes from Sams that held exactly 50 bottles. No slop, fit just right. They were some sort of frozen pizza.

But since then the boxes changed and I only had two of them.

Which is okay, since I keg now anyways

I keg too. But I like to bring beer to friends as well. And I don't have nearly enough kegs. So I force carb and then bottle some of the beers. So much easier than the wait for bottle carbing IMHO.
