Finally got around to picking up some Publick House IPA from Trillium. Good, but probably the worst hoppy offering I've had from them. I like the resiny flavor, but it seems a bit sweeter than their other hoppy stuff.

Not sure if it's their worst hoppy offering (depends on if their hoppy wheats fall into that category), but it wasn't Congress St/Melcher St/FPPA good.

Because so much of their stuff is so excellent, the mediocre beers stand out for me. I'm thinking Pocket Pigeon, Stumpy Duck, and one of the Dry Stack series.

I actually liked Stumpy Duck, but didn't try Pocket Pigeon. Tried Dry Stack 6 today and immediately told the guy I wanted FPPA and PHIPA. Not impressed by that one at all. I get that it is a Belgian/farmhouse IPA, BUT, you gotta give me more than that.

It has way too much raw hop flavor for me. Like eating hops. Latest batch of Fort Point is crazy aromatic and tastes perfect tho.

Itty Bitty Goose was pretty mediocre
The glass I got at Hobo was great and then I got a growler and thought it was kinda sorta average.

I liked Itty Bitty Goose. Kinda thin mouthfeel, but lots of hop flavor and aroma. Glad I got a growler of Fort Point yesterday as well.

Was planning on heading to Tree House to grab some Lucid and a few growlers of Julius, but my last orgo midterm is Monday (on my birthday, nonetheless:oops:)and I'm just not in a place where I can go unless I want to bomb the exam.

If any of you folk are heading up that way, and might have a bottle to spare for me, I would srs give you my first born child (whenever that happens.....hopefully not anytime soon) and would gladly buy you a few rounds of brews at lord hobo or any other place in the Cambridge area once I'm done with orgo for good this friday, in addition to the $goandpickitupformebro$. Or, if you would wanna work out a trade for it, I could b game for dat as well.

Shot in the dark, but #YOLO.

Also, if anyone wants to grab a brew @ lord hobo after next week, I'll be chillen and out of school so get at meh.

Anyone try that Galaxy FPPA? Just finished my growler and it was amazing. I had only had the Double Dry-Hopped and regular versions. Galaxy was insanely good.
