Haven't tried it. Wasn't terribly impressed by Bug Valley, but I liked the Lineage Rye a whole lot. I have a couple friends going but, alas, cannot make it. Report back.

Bug valley and Cuvee de Tetrault were sort of weak. I liked lineage rye too. The bar is so high on farmhouse ales these days. Their saisons are decent but when a bottle of Arthur is cheaper it becomes a joke.

Hoping this new DIPA is dope tho

I'm going to agree on their saison/farmhouse stuff. It's good, but it's not excellent. I would probably take Tank 7 over Trillium, especially since it comes in 12oz bottles.

Now, their hoppy stuff is a whole 'notha ball game. I have enjoyed all and been absolutely smitten with a couple, particularly Congress St. I love how little residual sweetness they all have. I can only hope that the DIPA follows in the same vein.

I find it odd that they aren't coming to EBF.

I believe this is correct. Did anyone try their BBA cider? I think it was on at Publick House among a few other places. I didn't get a chance to try it.

Those two Sunny Ridge variants sound pretty cool to me. Not so sure about that smoked marzen.. Fenugreek in a beer sounds eww.

I think I have read that fenugreek is supposed to be a maple syrup pseudo substitute.

Didn't go personally, but from what I've heard/read on Untappd, it's on par with their pales. That is exciting.

It was good, sweeter than FP, DDH PT, or Congress but comparable to its siblings

I heard a rumor that Mettle will be tapped at their other accounts simultaneously at 7 tonight. No clue if that's what everyone is agreeing to do tho. Deep Ellum and Lord Hobo should have it.

I saw somewhere on the internets this morning that this would happen.

GF works around the corner from Trillium. Went at 1ish to avoid the lunch rush. There's never any line at that time on a Friday; it's usually pretty slow from 1-3:30 or so.

She waited for 40 minutes and then bounced. Neckbeards swarming the place.

I think I prefer FPPA and Cong St., but it's about on par with those.

Agreed. Got a lot of spice off of this and a more pronounced bitterness than I do off of Fort Point or Congress St without a boost in tropical/citrus character. It's a little too sweet for my tastes too. Really good? Absolutely. Best DIPA ever? Not even close.

If you put CBS on a pedestal you are gonna be disappointed. The food really is that good though.

I'm not, I actually think KBS is overrated (though most don't agree with me) so I don't have real high hopes for CBS that's falling off now apparently BUT it has been one that I've wanted to tick for a long time. The food sounds damn good though.
