I think they are closing it with the new brewery/restaurant opening so close. No point in doing can sales and growlers only anymore.

The retail space alone at the new place is 3x the public space of old location.

And then the taproom area + outdoor seating and roofdeck are 3x that. And the restaurant floor is the same size as those also...

The new space is large is what I'm saying.

Anyone seen cans of Revolution Brewing's Straight Jacket around? Fort Point Market posted about it the other day but I haven't seen cans around Cambridge/Somerville.

3F drops are hitting all around. CBC Belmont had Hommage today at $57 apiece, and I've got confirmation from a couple other shops that they expect their 3F within the next few days. Recommend stopping by your local shops!

What breweries do you plan on visiting? I'm assuming Trillium is on there
It is, if I can make it over there — pretty massive hike from where I’m staying. I’d love to do Mystic, but they’re even further. I’ll definitely hit Deep Ellum for obvious reasons, planning on Cambridge Brewing, as I’ve never been, and then I’m very open to suggestion.

if you're in Allston, check out Lulu's down the street from Deep Ellum. Food and taplist are usually pretty excellent. More of an american focus than Deep Ellum though.

Lamplighter

Agree with Lamplighter. Aeronaut in Somerville and Night Shift in Everett (uber/ lyft are great options if you don't have a car) are my go to when I visit my girlfriend. Lord Hobo the bar is located in Cambridge as well

Mystic is worth it for the puppies, cbc as well. Hope you get to eat good while you're here too.

I'm flying out of Boston on Saturday. I've never flown out of Logan before and I'm looking for advice on parking. I'm sure their long term parking is expensive and it's probably not surrounded by other options like Bradley.

Economy lot, still about $25 a day, but super easy and there's a shuttle bus every 5-10 min. to the terminal.

I was just looking at Logan Express. Only 7 a day for parking, but once I factor shuttle tickets it's not that big a difference.

Yea, I've done the Logan Express before. You might save some money, but it's much more trouble than it's worth. How long are you gone for?

I am flying into and out of Boston next week for the Ann release. My wife’s one stipulation for this trip is lobster rolls. I’ve done some research and it seems like Neptune Oysters is the place to go but there is always a long line. What are the locals recommendations? Is Neptune where it’s at or should we go somewhere else?

This man is correct.

I'll third the vote for Row 34. If you're spending any time in Boston, Row 34 and Trillium's new spot are just a block or two apart, and Fort Point Market is right nearby too for more beer to go. Figure you're checking a bag or shipping a box back anyways (unless you're planning to chug the Ann upon pickup?) so there's a couple good options for you.

Coming up to Boston for a few days in the beginning of June. My wife will be in town for a work conference and I'm tagging along. Will be up for Thursday night-Sunday morning. Saw that Trillium has a new restaurant and will also have the Greenway open when we're there. Is one worth visiting over the other? Any restaurant recommendations (no Italian please)? Cocktail and/or tiki bars? Staying in Back Bay but totally fine to travel

Thanks!

I think that two of the best cocktails bars in Boston are pretty close to you: Eastern Standard and The Hawthorne. ES is my favorite. Drink, which is in Fort Point (close to the old Trillium spot) is another popular cocktail bar, but I've never been.

If you're willing to cross the river, I would recommend Alden & Harlow in Harvard Square, Cambridge. I love their cocktails and their food is very good. Very easy to get to via public transit (red line to Harvard Sq.).

Lastly, I'd be premiss to not plug my favorite restaurant (anywhere, really), which is Sarma in Winter Hill, Somerville. Good cocktails, ok beer options, but phenomenal food ("modern mediterranean"). It will be hard/impossible to grab a reservation now, but if you show up 20 min before open the bar is first-come and you can eat there.

Let me know if you have any questions or if I can be helpful.
