Alright, so when I was little my step dad took me to mexico to meet his family, well our family. And while I was there I remember stopping by all the little shops in mexico city and trying everything! All the different foods and fruits and everything. Before this Ive never really been out of the Northwest US (Oregon, Washington) so needless to say it made an impact.

I remember these Boing poutches because they tasted so tropical and were so crazy sweet and came in pyramid shaped pouches. Was wondering how viable it would be to use the boing juice in place of some of the water.

so like 3 pounds of honey, 3 cups of boing and topped off with water and kiwi, oranges, vanilla, pineapple, coconut?

just throwing some ideas out there. Want to make something sweet and tropical as the sun is staying out longer and summer is rolling around!

Never heard of Boing... and Google brought up some umm.. interesting suggestions lol.
You'd need to check the ingredients for preservatives. Couldn't find that info online.

I'd think it would work.
Reading their peocess it's only fruit pulp pasteurized and watered down.
Worth giving it a shot on a small batch.
HTH

small batch as in 1 gallon? or a 1.5 liter growler? Either way I think Ill give it a try next go around

I'd make a base mead and add the boing as a flavoring.

Any advantage of doing it this way, I would think the extra sugar and fruit pulp would add a little nutrient for the yeast to munch on.

In the original post the tropical flavor and sweetness of Boing was mentioned. If you want that flavor in the mead, don't ferment it.
Once you ferment a juice the flavor is totally different and the sweetness will be gone.
Boing probably has preservatives in it so it might not ferment.
When the mead is finished, you can do some blending trials and get the flavor profile you are looking for.
