I have a question concerning yeast starters. I made one with 2 cups water 1/2 cup dme and let it get a a boil and and put it in the flask. I chilled it down and added the yeast samples. What I am worried about is that the wort was chilled but the sides of the flask were just a little warm (I could hold it easily with out a towel). It's been about 12 hours, I just checked on my yeast starter and the krausen hasn't really formed much. I just worry there is no yeast activity.
