Yeah I did the boil alright, I was just concerned about the temp I steeped the specialty grains. Had a buddy steep his at too high a temp and it came out off. So I was a little concerned. Thanks for all the info.
I did add 3/4 lb of rolled oats to the recipe. Its my second brew and heard they add a nice feel to the beer.
You've heard the truth. Try Terrapin Wake n Bake Oatmeal stout for a velvety mouthfeel and IMO the best oatmeal stout made.
