After I drained my kettle into my carboy, I saw that somehow... somehow my rubber bung made its way into the kettle and rode the whole 60 min boil out.
Any information on how what the rubber material at that temp for that long could have contributed to my wort? It's fully fermented now and waiting for racking.
Has this ever happened to anyone else?
