Bock Lager question

So i made a bock about 3 or so months and its sitting in the secondary now. During the first few months the temp was good the last couple of weeks the tempature has raised a little bit like maybe up to 65, it was in my garage where it is cooler. I'm about to bottle it tomorrow, My question is should i be worried that the tempature is not cool enough for a lager? Also i did put a few ice packs around it to try and cool it down, not on it just near it, So thoughts?

Was it ever properly lagered? When you say sitting in your garage, do literally mean just sitting in there hoping for the best? Proper lagering temps are around 33, give or take depending on preference.

Ya it was just sitting there, but i guess i will have to hope for the best and see what happens. I havent done a lager before. It should be that cold?

Fermentation should be around 50 and then lagering around 33. With lagers, temperature control is paramount. Not only do they need to be at those temps (give or take), but you need to make sure you can hold them steady.

Ya I wouldn't worry about the lagering aspect as much. Not really for flavor but clarity.

However until fermentation is finished you need temperature control. A high lager fermentation temperature prior to completion, not counting D rest, will ruin your beer or at the very least make it less good than it could be

Well i relized i actually had another month in the secondary, So i'll try to keep it cool and see what happens.

I think you are past the time where you get the best benefits from cold lagering. If you had a month of good cold lagering you should be fine. That is when the most dramatic changes occur.
