I have been working on this for a couple of weeks and finally sat down and put this together. I wanted to see what an exploded view of the set up I have looks like in actual physical parts (and how much I am going to kill my bank account) before I go spending money like a mad man. The distance between the pumps will probably change, so the nipple length will also change from the drawing. (No seriously, I need longer nipples.)
I wanna thank JonW for inspiration and a quick counseling session. I took your design and ran with it.

The 2 images are basically the same, just one is number coded so I could see if I missed something.

Here is the table that goes with the numbers. You can also see the spreadsheet HERE

.So if I'm looking at this right it's going to be a hard plumbed system? That spreadsheet and picture took some time to put together. Looks great, will really help think through my re/build some more too. Really appreciate you sharing that.

Your welcome.
The pump section is hard plumbed. I will run hoses up from the "pumps" to / from the keggles. It will be a lot easier to work on cleaning off the table. I haven't finalized the table height as of yet. With hard and hose plumbed system it could change on a whim without having to play hose dj.

I hope it helps a lot.

A couple quick notes...

1. I imagine it might be a bit difficult trying to get everything to line up with all those threaded pieces. Perhaps include a stainless union or two in there so you have some flexibility. I've never had luck trying to get stuff like that to be in the position I wanted while still being fully threaded but maybe I'm just really bad with a pipe wrench. Otherwise you might want to consider other options such as stainless tubing and compression fittings or triclover ($$$).

2. For that CIP spray ball, checkout the PSI requirements; I don't know that the chugger pump has enough for it.

3. Why the false bottom in the HLT?

You're a brave person pricing out each fitting. Those are the pieces that add up quickly especially if you're sourcing from multiple locations or in multiple orders with shipping charges on each.

1. Lining up: that's a good point. I haven't considered that. I have run long threaded pieces before and haven't had an issue. I'll report back on that when it happens. Unions are a great idea. Thanks

2. CIP ball: I use one in my keg washer right now. The head height is almost the same, about 3" shorter. Plenty of juice to spray down a see-thru car boy, keg, or fermentation barrel. I was surprised also but it actually hits with some force. I will have the ball valve to make sure and keep the grain bed cozy.

3. False bottom: When I had a propane set up I had 3 identical kettles so I could rotate through back to back session without having to make adjustments. So it stayed as my set up. I guess that would be silly for someone who didn't already have them installed.

4. Cost: yeah had a bit of sticker shock when I priced it out, the good news is I'm down to less than a grand on what I still have to buy! My wallet is crying next to me. After everything I shout have bought the Sam C. 2-tier for a steal compared to this list. But it's nice knowing everything is made by my design. My wife did mention that when I first started brewing it was $200 for everything... Ha I wish I was right on that.

5. Sourcing: I do have a lot of parts already and was "buy-est" in the company I was purchasing from. Many of items on the list are already on my set up. If I take out the e-valves it will be not too bad. Around $300 for parts still needed.

Thanks for checking it out and your feedback.

When i clicked the link to this thread all I saw was "Brewery Exploded" :D not quite what I expected haha. Looks awesome though!
