So I made a 2L starter last night and placed it on my stir plate. When I woke up this morning my stir plate had bubbled over and all of the thick krausen is now out of my flask. Does this mean that I have lost all of my yeast? Or should I just clean it up and continue to stir?

one of my first starters did this, made a huge mess that my wife was not super happy about.

Anyway, I just cleaned it up and let it continue to stir. Pitched like normal and had no issues.

+1

My last starter did this but I cleaned the flask, pitched it, & the beer turned out fantastic.
