I am using this recipe and wondering around what temperature I should keep it around? I am unfamiliar with the styling of blondes and I dunno if it needs to be low 60s or high 60s or what. I fermented my Irish ale earlier at 64-66 and it came out nice. I am using the US-05 and I know that probably isn't the best yeast for the job, but I would still like to keep it as close to style as possible.
 
Personally, I prefer my Blonde Ales to be clean and crisp, almost like a lager. To get that, I ferment on the lower side of the recommended temperature range.

Fermentis recomends 59-75 F for the US-05.

If you can keep it in the low 60s, it should be really clean. If you want a bit more esters, ferment it in the middle or upper range of the temperature scale.

+1 on what cdburg said. US-05 is a great choice for a Blonde Ale IMO. It ferments very neutral and clean even in the upper 60s but I shoot for 62-64 myself.
 
I statrted my current Blonde Ale at 65 and after a few days got it down to around 58 by placing it on the basement floor near my garage door. This will be my second go at a Blonde Ale so I am hoping for much improvement over the first.

I will be kegging the Ale in a few days then carbonating slowly over several days to two weeks before tapping.

I'm at work and can't remember the yeast I used, but I know it was a White Labs Strain.

While were on the subject of Blonde Ale, what do people think of using WLP008 in a Blonde? And should i use CaraPils or should I not try to up the body in this style?
 
WLP008 would be fine for a blonde.

If you want to use some carapils just keep the amount pretty small. Something like 1/2 to 3/4 of a pound for a 5 gallon batch.
 
My recent blonde used US-05 and fermented at "room temperature" (65-70). It is a VERY nice brew.

So nice, I am brewing an 8 gallon batch (5 gallon keg and 3 gallon keg) next month.

The US-05 worked it's magic fast, I had it in the keg and carbed in two weeks.

For an ale, it is very light and crisp. If I didn't know better, I would say it is a lager.
