I've never had New Belgium's Accumulation White IPA. Buuut, my friend and I decided to both take a stab at cloning it (he's had it before and tell's me it's a fantastic beer), using only information from New Belgium's website. Once both our beers are ready, we'll do a blind comparison: My version, my friend's version, and New Belgium's Accumulation.
My version of the clone is complete and I'm now drinking it. I have no idea yet if it's anything like New Belgium's beer, but regardless, this is one awesome beer (possibly the best beer I've made yet)!
It turned out very nice and light in colour, with the perfect amount of haze. The aroma is spectacular (very pinapple-y/citrusy) and it's remarkably easy drinking for being a moderately high ABV beer.
