I'm want to send my blichmann hellfire burner to Greece to brew this summer while on leave. My hellfire burners have a 10psig regulator. Is this considered high pressure and what would be the equivalent european propane regulator replacement for this to work with european propane bottles. i'm confused and don't trust my math converting from psig to bar.

Hi,
I'm not from greece but they _should_ use the same bottles as we do here in germany - usually 11kg bottles. Most pressure reducers here are 30-50 mbar, so way less with about 0.7psi I think. They look like this:

So I would recommend to bring your pressure reducer with you and use an adaptor to connect it to the bottle, something like that:

left side to bottle, right side "US"

That's just my thinking, can't guarantee that it is totally correct. Just checked on the internet which connection they use in greece.
And you might want to "heat" that gass bottle or connect two together to prevent freezing (I get that with the 50mbar already when brewing, so I put the bottle in some water as a buffer. In greece it should be considerable warmer though, so maybe not needed)

Thank you so much. This makes total sense. Do you have a link to share where I can purchase this adapter?

Hi,
I'd recommend to get it locally. Buying here sending to US (I guess?) won't make sense.
Probably something like "us euro gas bottle adaptor" should get you going as search term.
