Like the title says...anyone know the part number on McMaster Carr for a diptube replacement o-ring? I found an old thread with numbers for what seems like every other O-Ring but the one I need. I've attached a picture for clarity. The O-Ring goes inside the bulkhead and sits inside the groove you can see in the diptube. View attachment ImageUploadedByHome Brew1441165442.948698.jpg

Blichmann loves to use proprietary hardware to prevent you from buying it for less from other vendors besides them. (The owner borrowed this philosophy from Caterpillar where he worked prior to starting blichmann so I was told).. That said I bet you can get lucky and find the right size at your local hardware store... Pretty much anything else is going to cost you at least double what it would normally cost.

All the o-rings are in this thread: https://www.homebrewtalk.com/showthread.php?t=206493 I created it a few years ago because I didn't like how he was gouging people on the prices for them (nor would he give the part numbers so we could order them ourselves). Instead of charging $7.88 for a replacement set he should toss in a set of spares.

I posted a "Thanks" there too, but I'll say it again. The pictures are awesome. Definitely leaves no question. I'm going to order a set and see how the old sets of o-rings work in the new G2 Boilermaker, particularly the o-rings used on the new "linear flow control valve." Will update when the parts come in and I can check.
