Black bugs and leaf flackes

Hi all guys,

my hops have following problems: some small black bugs and the leaves got soe strange spots ...









Any idea how to save my hops?

One of my first hobbies was bonsai.
From that I recall some pests are really susceptible to soap water.
You could try that.
You just need a sprayer and liquid dish soap.
No harm in trying. ..
And would cost almost nothing.

Downy mildew? Or too much water?

The ground looks like it could use a dry out. How big is the plant? How high will it be able to grow? You may be able to cut a few of the lower leaves to help with airflow.

Can you take a picture up-close of the leaf spotting (just a whole leaf, top and bottom)?

Can you take a closer picture of the bug because it could be ladybug larvae which will do no harm!
