Hey guys. I want to attempt bittering a brew with juniper berries. Im making a 1 gallon batch for a trial and want to know how many berries i should use and adding them in at what intervals? Im going hopless with this one.

The only thing i have found is someone threw .25 oz of berries in the secondary ferment. Been trying to find if anyone has tossed them in during the boil?

I kn oh w they can be used in gruit udk about bittering i know if you want to try bittering with out hops you could try yarrow.
