Bit of a dilemma - I can't chill the wort

I'm 15 min into a 60 min boil and was setting up the chilling station outside. Turns out my garden hose is frozen. The pot I use is too big to sit in any sinks in the house and I'm at a loss as to how to chill this stuff.

Can I just put the brew in my fermenter, add a couple shots of co2 from my keg set up and wait it out until the temp drops to add the yeast?

What about a bathtub?
Either put your pot into the tub or bring your waterhose in and put it into a hot bath.

If you can get some cheap/free ice, put that into your tub with your brewpot. Then do all of your cleaning while it chills.

I have used a cooler full of ice water as well.

Don't do CO2, you want oxygen for fermentation.

No. First of all the brew will be hot and can break a glass fermenter or melt a plastic fermenter. Just place the pot outside till it cools. You might try taking the hose off and puttin the hose in the bath tub with hot water. It might thaw.

What is your chilling station?

Assuming your fermenter can handle the hot wort, you could certainly put it in there and wait it out. Some other options: Create an ice bath for your kettle in the bathtub; Put the garden hose in a hot bath to thaw; Connect your chiller to another cold water source in the house...

Yeah, it sounds like it's pretty cold outside where you live, so I'd just sit it outside with a lid on for a while.

The "station" I have is a garden hose connected to the chiller that empties out in to the back yard. I sit my pot in one of those big tin tubs filled with ice. Works great. But, the hose is frozen as is the spigot. I'll just leave it outside. Nice chilly 25 degrees at the moment.

If your spigot is frozen do you have a cracked pipe now? I know you don't have to worry about those anti-syphon spigots, but I don't think you are supposed to leave a hose attached...

wb - Air cooling at 25F works, but not quickly. Takes a couple hours.

HDPE buckets can take boiling wort no problem.

Better Bottles and Glass Carboys..not so much.

I don't understand all this talk about bathtubs and whatnot. If it's cold enough to freeze the hose, it's cold enough to chill your wort.

As david_42 notes, the transfer of heat between the pot and the liquid surrounding it in a tub will be much more efficient than the transfer with cold air.
