Big bubbles?

About 2 weeks in. Simple pale ale. Smells great but I've never seen such big krausen. I did wash the carboy in soap prior to use. Thought I rinsed very well but this was my first time using glass so I couldn't shake it vigorously like plastic. What do you think? On one hand I'd say it looks fine but those bubbles almost look like a pellicle. That being said, I've only got four brews under my belt so take it with a grain of salt.

Those look a lot like dish soap bubbles to me. If you look at them closely, do they have a swirly kinda rainbow-ish colour going on?

Did you use Safale US-05 for the yeast?? I've seen similar krausens from that yeast

Yes - used Safale US-05. Will have to look and see if I see any colors
