Hi!
Been lurking on the forum for a while and haven't yet encountered an answer to this question. Figured it's time to join!
Let me preface this by saying I only have experience with Extract so far.
I am close to attempting my first BIAB and am looking forward to it. I'm hoping that I can accomplish the same results that I had previously with extract brewing. In my last couple extract brews have doubled the ingredients/quantities of an extract recipe in a 9 gallon turkey fryer and then split the wort between 2 primary buckets, topped up with water and ended up with 10 gallons of beer in the same time it normally takes to make 5.
Is this possible when doing BIAB?
I have a wilserbrewer bag which I expect would support the weight of the grains. Is there any reason why I shouldn't try this?
Thanks!!
