I obtained a Full 20 lb CO2 Cyclinder. I thought I was getting CO2. I just notice a small orange printed stickly label that says BEV Gas. What is this? Online, it could be anywhere from 100% CO2 to only 25% CO2. It has the standard CO2 Regulator, so I would believe it it mostly if not all CO2. Unfortunately, I got it some time ago and no longer have the contact info from where I got it.

If I had to hazard a guess it's a blend of CO2 and Nitrogen that is most often specified to drive a "long line" dispensing system (where kegs are in a cold room adjacent to the dispensing area).

BUT...it's also possible it's a labeling convention used by the supplier to specify a "beverage quality CO2".

Cheers!

Do not know where it came from so cannot call the store. It is either 100% CO2 or very high percentage as at 10 psi, it is going into solution in about 4 hours. I am not leaving connected but topping off keg to see if it is going into solution. I was afraid I could not use for forced carbonation but it looks like it is doing the job!
