Better bottle VS glass

I would like to make some wine, I was wondering if you need a glass carboy for the aging of the wine, or can i use a better bottle carboy?

I've had wines in better bottles for up to a year with no issues. It's personal preference so use whichever you like.

Nope. Other than the fact that you can scratch it if your not careful, you should just consider the BB glass. Only it wont break and kill you.

+1 no carboy brush with a better bottle! A long soak with oxyclean will take care of really nasty stuff but if you clean it right away you can usually just swirl a wet dish towel to clean it.

Idk why but my BB comes clean alot easier than my glass carboys. Oxiclean rules
