Best Way to Plug Yer Hole?

Made some holes in a pot that I don't want hole'd anymore. What's the easiest way for me to plug it? I tried the Blichmann Brewmometer plug thingy from AIH thinking it'd work with any kettle, but alas that's not the case.
 
have this same problem. started brewing with an old aluminum turkey fryer. I have since upgraded to ss. So now i have a spout and thermometer holes in it. Would like to plug em and use it as a turkey fryer again
 
I think they're 5/8"? Used a step drill to fit 1/2" fittings.
 
What about brazing on a triclover fitting from Bobby and using a triclover cap


There's gotta be something cheaper if thing. I don't have equipment to braze. I have oxygen, but it's for aerating wort, unfortunately.
