Gotta say there are a few cause I'm boy always in the mood fe a certain style but,

Founders breakfast stout
Russian river pliney the elder
hoegaarden wit
dry dock vanilla porter

I don't know if I've never gotten a good bottle or something, but my impression of Fat Tire was terrible.

Its one of those beers that you absolutely cannot drink straight from the bottle, and even then I think its 10x better on tap.
Overral though I wouldnt rank it very high, but its not a bad beer

Good damn question... I would say favorite brew house is Lake Tahoe Brew Co. in Lake Tahoe.

Favorite beers right now: Delerium Tremmers (SP??), Guinness, Fat Tire, Sierra Nevada, Kona's brew co ale... forget the name

It's true, better than macro's but too expensive to buy often. It's usually the only "good" beer I can get on tap around here. I don't mind it but I like NB's 1554 more. It's similar to fat tire but with chocolate and more roasted malt notes. The biggest complaint I have to NB's brews (which they cannot help) is that the initial taste when the beer hits your pallet is awesome, but that taste goes away immediately and becomes transparent (unless you drink their brew slowly).

I'm a fan of New Glarus, I try to pick up a bit whenever I'm up that direction, I quite enjoy the Fat Squirrel.

I'll throw in Bells Expedition stout, that was a delicious intense beer and Goose Island 312 Urban Wheat, pretty tasty, easy drinking and great fresh

Another fan of Deschutes' brews. Black Butte Porter is heaven in a bottle. Always love Sierra Nevada's products. Their Torpedo is a favorite. No love for Firestone Walker? Union Jack IPA is ridiculously good as is all their stuff. Ballast Point beers are sick as well.

Natural Light, Old Milwaukees Best, Keystone, Bud Ice and all the Bud craft brews(especially the lime), Colt 45, Steel Reserve, Corona(with a lime), Coors, Miller, Natty Boh, Pabst, Red Dog(remember that), Icehouse...could go on forever but Im getting thirsty doin this.

Hm, it's tough to pick favorites on the "home appreciation" camp (New Belgium's Hoptober is the top of my mind right now)... but on the "pub pint" camp, nothing beats Manny's Pale Ale (Seattle).

My #1 seems to change over time but currently it's Stone Brewery's Sublimely Self Righteous. Of course that may change when my brother-in-law gets here for Thanksgiving and brings something new from up north...

I probably haven't tried as many craft brews as most here, but right now the two that have really impressed me the most are North Coast's Old Rasputin and Bell's Two Hearted Ale.

I forgot about Fat Tire, I agree with that vote. That beer makes going out west very enjoyable. Not that it isn't already.

Seriously? Fat Tire? That's the beer for people who don't like ales and usually drink Miller. There are many beers here better than that.

I kid, everyone's entitled to their opinion ;)

But seriously. There is a brew pub here called CooperSmiths and they make an english bitter called Albert Damn (I think). It's absolutely delicious.

The best beer I've ever had was the Arrogant Bastard I ordered at the Stone brewery restaurant.

I'm not sure that Stone counts as a microbrewery, though; it seems to large. When I think microbrewery, I think of someplace local, in which case, I'm a fan of North by Northwest's pale ale.

From what I've seen of fat tire (and we're talking a couple bombers poured into glasses in bars), its not something anyone who drinks american lager would come near. It has been decidedly "funky" every time I've tried it.

Now that's an awesome description, I will remember that one. All I really meant to imply is that Fat Tire tastes like a Pepsi. To anyone who does travel out this way and ever gets a chance to stop by the New Belgium Brewery, try some of the brews from their "Lips of Faith" line. Go for the La Follie, THAT'S a funky beer.
