I live in the Pacific North West on the coast. Our average temperature during the growing season ranges 65-70 degrees. Other than this year, it is mostly sunny with morning fog/clouds. What hops will do best in my climate that are decent producers?
Thanks!

I'm in Vancouver BC which has a similar climate and a first year grower so disregard if a more experienced grower says something completely different. When I decided to try to grow it was late in the rhisome pre-order season and I had to jump on it quick as they were starting to sell out so I didn't do much research. Find some local growers or talk to your LHBS (somebody there will at least know a grower). I didn't do either of those things. It is damp here so I thought mold would be an issue like it is with everything but the plants are being eaten with aphids. I went with northwest hops because I thought they would do better as they are sort of native but Vancouver's climate really isn't anything like the hop growing regions. I ended up going with Centennial, Mt Hood, Nugget, Cascade and Willamette after a review of the hop union data book. If I was to start again I would keep the Willamette and Cascade (as they are doing well) but I'd also try some european or english varieties and definitely go for some varieties that are known to have insect resistance and tolerance. The brewing network sunday session has done several eps on hop growing that are worth a listen - there is a basic growing and planting episode with vinnie of russian river and recently an episode with a Willamette valley hop grower
