So after many batches of both extract and all grain, my cohort in crime and I have purchased a mini fridge to convert to a 2 tap keg system. Any thoughts, pointers, or preferences on what to look for with kits?

Thanks

MNE

First, you'll need to make sure that where you drill at the top there are no coils, if so and you drill through it, the fridge will be toast.

As for Kits, they are all by preference of what you want and there are a slew of "How-To's" on this board on converting a fridge at what parts you'll need. There are also instructions on how to locate the freon lines in the fridge so you don't drill into them as well.

Good luck!

You can also take baby steps, get the system up and running on picnic taps, then add a tower in the future, this way you can enjoy cold draft beer while installing the tower. :)
