I don't know how much you folks keep track of each other so maybe this is out of place but I wanted to let you know that Ben - "imreallycrazy" passed away in a motorcycle accident Monday evening May 30. I know he enjoyed this forum so I wanted to let you know.

Thanks,
Dave - his dad

It's not out of place at all. I am so sorry for your loss. This forum is a band of brothers and sisters bonded by our love of brewing. Your son was a member of this family, and he will be missed. God keep you and your family in this sad time.

Dave,

I am so sorry to hear about your son's passing. I know the death of a loved one is extremely difficult, I wish I had words to take away your pain. I give you a hug.

Jim

Sorry to hear about your loss. I wish the best to you and your family.

Dave, thanks for letting us know.
this is very sad news for us, we are truly sorry to hear about Ben's misfortune, but that pales in comparison to what you and family are going through. Through this internet, real people will have you all in our thoughts and prayers!

I've been watching this thread since you posted, Dave, and wanted to say something earlier, but I'm shocked! I'm not really good with words when it comes to situations like these. I'm truly sorry. My name is Ben, I'm 23 as well, and I just bought my first bike. Ben will definitely be in my thoughts. I truly wish you and your family the best.

Thank you for letting us know, Dave. From one father to another, I can't imagine what you're going through. We shall all raise a pint in his memory.

As a fellow brewer and biker, I'm so sorry to hear about your son's untimely death. My deepest sympathies go out to you and your family.

Peace be with you and your family. From my experience, gather strength from others, know that everyone's journey while mourning is uniquely their own. God bless.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. This forum is a very tight knit family. They were a major part in helping me through the loss of my daughter and I hope you can find any extra support you may need through us too. Again, I am so sorry to hear of your loss and you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Wow, very sad to hear.

My deepest regards to you and your family. It is odd you mentioned how much he enjoyed this website. As a home brewer I am sure he was completely addicted to this site. You as a father realizing and posting shows how much you took the time to know his passions.

I hope you stick close to your family, and never forget the good times with him. Sad stuff.

So so sorry. I'm a Ben as well. Everyone here will certainly be thinking of you.

There are many brewers and motorcycle riders here, and as stated by others - we are all a family. My condolences.

I'm so sorry, Dave. Something a father shouldn't have to experience. Life can be a real bastard sometimes.

Hang in there, man.

From another fellow rider and brewer, my heartfelt condolences. I know this was a few days back, but I will be raising a glass in his honor tonight and wishing the best for your family.
