I am putting together a Belgian IIPA. I was thinking of using wyeast Trappist High Gravity 3787 (westmalle yeast) or would it be better with wyeast Belgian ardennes 3522? Any comments on my grain bill?

Yes, 3787 is a good yeast and it's the same one used in Sumptin Wild. If you are trying to get close to that, you will need some cat pee hops late in the boil and dry hop. Certainly, Naughty Kitty Brewing must have a stash of cat pee hops somewhere. If not, go to the LHBS right meow and pick some up.

i have a nice little stash of citra if that's what ur referring to lol. i love sumpin wild and would love to have something like but that was not my intention here now should this turn out like it i would be very happy

I think Simcoe is what peed in Sumptin Wild. There are some clone recipes floating around the net.

I like the Ardennes yeast, but it's on the spicey side and think Westmalle is a better match for a hoppy beer.

i listened to a broadcast from the brewer at lagunitas where he gave out the recipe to lil sumpin sumpin. I figured the wild version was just a higher grave version of that with a different yeast
