Beersmith No Ingredients Problem

Has anyone had this issue? I essentially cant compose a batch thus rendering the program useless. Any fixes out there? Ive sent a message to beersmith, we will see what IT mumbo jumbo i have to deal with to fix a problem i didnt create.....argh.
