I had no idea where to post this one.
The one luxury I allow myself is an annual trip to Europe. Typically Italy or France. I didn't make it this year because of some unexpected expenses.
Next year, sometime around September, I'd like to incorporate a visit to some of the Belgian Abbeys in my trip. I figure I'd fly into Amsterdam and train/bus it from there to the "Big Five" before scooting on down to Italy for the world's best food and culture (sorry if that offends anyone... no, on second thought, it's the truth, so deal with it).
Question is, has anyone done this? What was your experience with the breweries? If there's anyone living in the area, I'd love to hear your perspective. Has anyone stayed at the breweries?
Tips, suggestions, etc., are all welcome.
