I brewed 5 gallons of a Russian Imperial Stout (an Old Rasputin all-grain clone) a few weeks ago. Everything went as planned BG, OG, FG all on target etc. I let it set in the primary for 2 weeks. I normally rack to a glass carboy for clarification for another 2 weeks and then bottle. However, last night I went from primary to bottling bucket. About halfway through bottling I tasted a bit of it and it tasted & smelled like the trub.

Is it because I skipped letting the beer clarify for a few more weeks? or is something wrong?

I'm guessing it will clarify in the bottle and be ok after about 4-6wks from now?
