Beer smith off?

looking at doing a full boil caribou slobber extract full boil. I added all the ingredients and it shows my sg as 1.046 instead of 1.052
Any suggestions?

Check all your volume settings.

All the ingredients are correct but not really sure about kettle size. I have a 15 gallon kettle and plan on doing a 6 gallon boil

I mean check your batch size and losses. When I plug those ingredients into BS for 5 gal batch size with no trub loss I get 1.052. That is a Northern brewer kit? I think they figure for 5 gals not including any losses.

It's an extract kit. If your water volumes are correct you have the SG stated for the kit. You gotta "tune" BS to your situation for loss to trub and boil off.
